SUBMISSION GRAPPLING/BJJ NO GI
Due to the increasing popularity of MMA, Submission Grappling has become an important tool in enhancing skills and a necessary component for success on the MMA scene. Submission Grappling is a combination of Jiu-Jitsu for submissions and reversals with the intensity of Wrestling. Its focus is on moves associated with the clinch and ground techniques with the ultimate goal to submit your opponent through various submissions, holds and positions.
Our MMA classes are made up of two main components, Striking and Wrestling with skills drawn from Muay Thai and Submission Grappling/BJJ. MMA puts stand up striking, take downs, throws, submissions, wrestling and ground striking together.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU (BJJ Gi)
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu means “Gentle Art” and does not contain any strikes of any kind. It is based on joint locks, positions and choke holds using the whole body. This gives longevity in the sport and makes it ideal for men, women and children of all ages and fitness levels.
BJJ places importance on overpowering an opponent without causing him any harm. Our BJJ classes focus on takedowns, takedown defence, ground control (including chokes and joint-locks), pinning opponents and positioning.
Our BJJ team is honoured to be affiliated with Tannuri Jiu Jitsu and competes under Fabricio International Team.
Our Wrestling/Judo classes use a combination of Judo, Freestyle and Roman-Greco Wrestling. There is greater emphasis on throws, take downs, pinning and counters of these moves.

Our Strength & Conditioning classes are suitable for men and women of all ages, body shapes and fitness levels. We offer a variety of training methods to keep you challenged and interested which make reaching your goals achievable and sustainable.
We incorporate HIIT, Muscular and Cardio Endurance Training, Strength Training, Metabolic Training, Bootcamp and many other effective training methods to burn fat, build lean muscle, improve aerobic and anaerobic fitness, improve overall body strength and core strength, improve flexibility, speed, agility, power and stamina. Not only are these classes great for people looking for general fitness, we’ve also had a number of people use these classes successfully with great results to train specifically for MMA fighting/competing, Obstacle Course Racing (Tough Mudder etc), Police Force fitness exams, Army entry fitness exams, Airforce entry fitness exams, professional Paintball teams.
Boxfit is a non contact, high-energy workout that incorporates body weight, conditioning, functional and circuit training with an emphasis placed on boxing for fitness. Boxfit combines an all over body cardio and conditioning workout to help you increase your fitness and stamina and burn fat, making it an effective way to train.
Boxfit is suitable for men and women from the age of 13 years of all fitness levels who are wanting to get fit, improve aerobic conditioning, lose fat and have fun.
Our Kettlebell classes are suitable for men and women of all ages, body shapes and fitness levels. We focus on grind and ballistic movements that are functional, challenging and work your entire body. Kettlebell training gives both a cardio and strength workout in one hit, recruits more stabilizer muscles (compared to traditional weight training), and is an effective way to improve fitness, flexibility, explosive power, core strength, endurance, build muscle, lose fat and gain strength.
